“Certified Copy” is a copy of a document certified by authorised persons (e.g. Certified Public Accountants (Practising)) or institutions that it is a true copy of the original.

For certain applications or examination, such as the applications of bank account opening, overseas immigrations etc., there are certain standards and requirements for the submitted documents, generally the copy of documents submitted must be “Certified Copy”.
